Curriculum

Our studio curriculum is customized for each student. Students are placed in levels that are unique to our studio. We are dedicated to ensuring a well-rounded music education.

The seven areas of focus for each of the Studio's Levels (1 through 12) are:

All students start at Level 1 even though they may be working at higher levels for some of the focus areas. Only once all of the topics for one level have been mastered, can a student move up to the next level.

Each lesson is created drawing from various resources, including:

» Methods: My First Piano Adventure, Piano Adventures, The Music Tree, Piano Town, Piano Safari, Piano Pronto

» Conservatories: Royal Conservatory of Music, Conservatory Canada

» Theory: Ultimate Music Theory, Vibrant Music Teaching, Music Mind Games

Students are encouraged to participate in various performance opportunities including PerformPLAY, studio recitals, Airdrie Rotary Festival of Performing Arts, RCM examinations and/or Conservatory Canada examinations.
