The power of play
At A to G Piano Studio, students learn to not only play the piano, but also learn through play with “off the page” activities including:
Playing theory games
Learning rhythm through movement + singing
Developing “animal” technique
Discovering patterns through rote
Exploring sounds with improv
We still learn to read and play music “on the page” too with our trusted step-by-step approach to reading staff music.
A music family
We are always adding new materials and resources to our programs to keep lessons engaging, lively, and motivational because we learn faster when we play, no matter how old we are! Students come to lessons because they love being part of our music family! It is our passion for creating an adventure in learning that creates a lifelong enjoyment of playing the piano and all the benefits that come along with it.
